Sales Manager - surveillance systems

Our client is a UK based surveillance solutions provider delivering an integrated solution into the airport security market.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our client's sales and marketing team to sell high technology critical infrastructure security systems as used within the airport industry. As a Sales Manager you will work with our clients existing contacts to develop interest in this area to achieve sales. You will also attend relevant exhibitions and support customer demonstrations of high technology products in order to develop opportunities with new contacts.

Key skills and experience:-
o Knowledge and experience of the defence and security markets.
o Experience of radar technology and/or Electro-Optic systems.
o Able to design multi-sensor security systems that include radars, cameras, thermal imagers, communication systems and Command and Control (C2) stations.
o Able to prepare customer facing documents including technical proposals (e.g. response to RFI, RFP and RFQs), compliancy matrices, technical sales publications including white papers and radar propagation analysis.
o Able to communicate detailed appropriate technical information to customers including System Integrators and end-users.
o An understanding of how to achieve complex sales with multiple decision makers.
o The ability to develop new opportunities through contacts and networking.
o Enthusiastic, diligent and with strong presentation skills.
o Ideally able to speak another European language.
o Educated to degree level or above in a relevant technical subject.
