Our client a successful multi-million pound company, designs, develops and supplies communications products for key market sectors.

We are looking for an experienced System Architect with extensive knowledge in the development and delivery of real time software systems. As a System Architect you will be part of our client's Systems Engineering team, investigating and selecting software solutions to requirements and user needs. As such you will define the Product / Platform Software Architecture, maximising re-use, purchase of COTS product components and outsourcing.

Key skills and experience:-
o Proven technical leadership, influencing and reporting skills
o Wireless telecoms experience
o Extensive knowledge in the development and delivery of real time systems using C
o Thorough understanding of the complete software development process, including software estimation.
o Relevant experience in Embedded Linux and investigating system performance issues
o Good understanding and tailored application of Agile development principles
o Experience of Multi-site working and working with outsourced and offshore development teams
o Experience of UML design tools, and ideally SysML
o Experience of using Architectural Patterns
o Customer (internal and external) focused
o Determination to succeed
