Our client is a proven leader in its field and develops truly market leading solutions supporting all the current major global standards for fixed and wireless telecommunications.

We are looking for an experienced Field Applications Engineer to join our client's business team. As a Field Applications Engineer you will be the technical authority within the EMEA region. You will be responsible for new product introduction and product training and support for sales teams, and other technical/sales support staff.

Key skills and experience:-
o Experience within a relevant sector of the industry i.e. RF and Microwave, Wireless or Datacomms and NGN
o Ability to deal with the appropriate range of levels within the customer's organisation
o Strong technical background (e.g. R&D, manufacturing)
o Prior field sales experience and Experience of the test and measurement market are desirable
o Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
o Ability to communicate and present information to all relevant levels
o Able to develop contacts
o Willingness to travel frequently throughout the country and occasionally anywhere in Europe.
o Valid driving licence
o An appropriate technical qualification. (egg degree/HND in Telecommunications, Electronic Eng., Physics)
