Our client is an established wireless company committed to the development, marketing and supply of advanced technology to the mobile telecommunications industry.

We are looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer to develop and maintain code modules, drivers and control/interface blocks for our client's in-house development system platform and automated test environment. As a Software Test Development Engineer you will design and implement driver and control code, and calibration and manufacturing test software.

Key skills and experience:-
o Embedded software development using C and C++
o Understanding of software design methodologies (OOD/UML/Data Flow)
o Experience in the implementation of real-time control algorithms
o Experience in hardware drivers and boot loaders
o Experience in commercial RTOS and source control tools
o A strong understanding of formal software test methodology
o Familiarity with RF test equipment, ICE (In-Circuit Emulation) and debugging tools
o A good degree in a computer science or related discipline
o Two years or more relevant industry experience in embedded software for wireless systems
