Our client is an established wireless company committed to the development, marketing and supply of advanced technology to the mobile telecommunications industry.

We are looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer to provide technical leadership in design, implementation and delivery of automated test systems for the development and manufacturing test of our client's products. As a Test Development Manager your role will be key to the design and development of production test systems for manufacturing and their support/improvement for production.

Key skills and experience :-
o Able to demonstrate examples of technical leadership in design, implementation and delivery of automated test systems for development and manufacturing test
o Experience of the implementation and validation of production fixtures and testers, including mechanical, electronic PCB's and software design
o Comfortable with generating test specifications and specifying test solutions from product schematics and initial product specification
o Able to read product schematics (mixed signal) and define test methods and test equipment with minimal support from development engineers.
o knowledge of the statistical analysis of test results
o Will be quality orientated with attention to detail
o Line management of a small team
o Knowledge of product approvals and statutory regulations
o LabView and Matlab programming experience.
o Ideally an experienced electronics design engineer who has moved into test development.
o Technically qualified
