Our client is at the leading edge of the communications revolution with the move to datacentric communications and the increasing focus on IP delivery.
We are looking for an experienced consultant to act as a key business developer and technology consultant operating and managing assignments for the MoD and associated clients. In this role the successful candidate will be part of our client's wireless technology team working to capture the needs for new wireless technologies and enabling them into military and defence programmes.
Key skills and experience :-
o Significant experience in design and development, project management and product management/business development.
o Technical insight - ability to gain quickly an understanding of new areas of wireless technology.
o Selling and influencing ability.
o Project management track record in a high-tech complex environment.
o Ability to influence key decision makers.
o Network of contacts in MOD and/or Defence Contractors.
o Self motivated and target driven.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Technical background.
o Degree educated, preferably in a related technology area.
