Our client is at the leading edge of the communications revolution with the move to data centric communications and the increasing focus on IP delivery.

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to design and implement leading edge digital signal processing solutions for wireless platforms across a range of market sectors. As a FPGA Design Consultant you will create technology enablers and production ready products meeting standards, reliability and cost targets.

Key skills and experience:-
o At least 3 years experience in wireless PHY/L1 technology development using FPGAs and/or ASICs.
o Strong development background, demonstrating wireless systems engineering skills and also technical depth.
o Experience of embedded real time software.
o Experience of mathematical simulation tools (e.g. Matlab).
o Experience of wireless algorithms and performance requirements.
o Expertise in electronic design from concept through to production.
o Expertise in FPGA design and Verilog.
o Excellent communication skills, free thinking and ability to fight one's corner
o Technical insight - ability to learn quickly.
o Good degree (minimum 2:1) in a relevant technical discipline.
