Our client works with 4G/LTE infrastructure developers and network operators to assist them in developing new network features and carry out interoperability analysis, quality of service analysis and network performance optimisation.

We are looking for an experienced Test Development Engineer to join our client's team. As a Test Development Engineer you will maintain and develop a Python based test automation system, taking on board new requirements and integrating them into the existing system. You will also be required to maintain and further develop a web based results server as this forms a critical part of the overall testing strategy.

Key skills and experience:-
o Experience of working in a technical discipline, preferably within a cellular comms environment.
o Have excellent working knowledge of Python and be able to take on-board new requirements.
o Maintaining and developing a Python based automation system.
o Maintaining and developing a Web Based results server.
o Continuously looking to improve existing systems to speed up testing and improve efficiency.
o Ability to work autonomously with very little instruction in a busy lab environment.
o Self motivated, self starter with a can do attitude.
o Able to work effectively alone, whilst being a team player.
o Ability to work under pressure, and provide good quality work in a timely manner.
o Have knowledge of or used the following tools: Matlab, ClearCase, ClearQuest, GP-IB, TCL, PHP.
