Customer Support Engineer

Our client designs, develops and supplies handheld and mobile terminals for key market sectors where customers require secure private mobile communications. It has customers in Europe, Australasia, Asia, Southern America and the Middle East and a growing network of international distributors and partners cover all corners of the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our client's support team. As a Customer Support Engineer you will provide post sales support to customer taking responsibility for resolving their problems and requirements. You will also provide technical support to the Sales team including customer visits.

Key skills and experience:-
o Proven experience in a similar role.
o Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following; PMR, IP/data communications, GSM/3G, GPS, encryption systems.
o UK Security clearance or ability to achieve such clearance.
o Reliable and able to work to deadlines.
o Good attention to detail.
o Clean driving licence.
o Excellent customer facing communication skills.
o Degree level qualification or equivalent desirable.
