Head of Customer Support - wireless

Salary: to circa £60k + benefits

Our client designs, develops and supplies mobile communications products for key market sectors. It has customers in Europe, Australasia, Asia, Southern America and the Middle East and a growing network of international distributors and partners cover all corners of the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Support Manager to champion and further instil a customer-focused ethos throughout our client's organisation. As Head of Customer Support you will lead our client's support activities, undertaking the day-to-day, strategic and operational management for all post sales support activities.

Key skills and experience:-
o Proven experience in management of international, technically-orientated support organisation.
o Experience in the wireless communications industry desirable.
o Management experience of logistics, purchasing, repairs, project management, pre and post sales support and customer help desk functions.
o Excellent communication and presentation capabilities at all levels.
o Ability to quickly assimilate sufficient appreciation of new products and technology, to support technical, contract and management negotiation.
o Extensive people and relationship management skills.
o Inclusive Management' style - ability to build motivated teams.
o Customer oriented, KPI driven, process oriented.
o Ability to liaise within a cross functional organisation and leverage resources outside of direct control.
o Foreign language skills advantageous
o Degree level/Professional Qualification desirable. (Electronics/Engineering beneficial)
