Our client has built an impressive portfolio of instruments and flexible test and measurement solutions. They provide a wide range of test instrumentation with considerable expertise in RF and wireless equipment.

We are looking for an experienced RF Design Engineer to work with our client's engineering and production teams developing modular and stand-alone RF instrumentation hardware. As an RF Design Engineer you will design and develop circuit and system level RF design and analogue baseband as well as carrying out design validation and testing.

Key skills and experience:-
o Proven experience as an RF or Microwave Design Engineer with skills in RF or microwave circuit design and diagnostic and measurement techniques.
o Able to understand system level issues involving interaction with digital hardware and control software.
o C++ or Visual Basic experience would be advantageous.
o Previous experience of the design for manufacture and dealing with production issues.
o Familiarity with digital hardware, control software and the ability to deal with system level problems.
o Previous experience of leading a small team is essential for this role.
o Basic data analysis skills are required using Excel or a scripting language such as Perl.
o Educated to degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
