We are looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer to be the electronics technical lead on medical device and medical instrument development projects. As an Electronic Engineer you will translate client project requirements into innovative electronics architectures and provide creative solutions to design challenges within an ISO13485 regulatory framework.

Key skills and experience:-
o Substantial experience in an electronic engineering role.
o A solid knowledge base in analogue, digital and embedded systems in the medical device sector is essential for this role.
o Excellent team working skills and the ability and enthusiasm to train and mentor less experienced staff.
o Strong client communication and management skills.
o Experience in electronics architecture design, interfacing with sensors and other physical devices, low noise design techniques, analogue modelling and simulation tools.
o Significant experience with ISO13485 and risk management to ISO 14971.
o Experience using microcontrollers, FPGAs and CPLDs.
o Implementation experience with IEC 60601, (including EMC requirements) and WEEE, RoHS requirements.
o An excellent first degree in electronics.
