Principal DSP Engineer - 3G and LTE wireless products

Our client works with 4G/LTE infrastructure developers and network operators to assist them in developing new network features and carry out interoperability analysis, quality of service analysis and network performance optimisation as well as a range of network and product tests.

We are looking for an experienced DSP Engineer to join our client's team implementing real time embedded software within their mobile communication products. As a DSP Engineer you will carry out detailed design, coding and debugging of real time embedded software containing control code, signal processing blocks and interface software. In addition you will carry out related test and integration activities.

Key skills and experience:-
o A solid background in real time embedded software development as part of an embedded product development with 3 to 5 years+ of experience.
o A professional programmer in real time embedded C and an expert in code debugging and efficiency improvements.
o Knowledgeable in software development practices and mobile communication.
o Experience in the digital/wireless communication sector and knowledge of WCDMA and OFDMA products would be very desirable.
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential and the applicant must be able to work on their own initiative and as well as in a team.
o Occasional business travel may be necessary in this role.
o A degree in a relevant electrical/electronic engineering or computer science discipline
