Our client works with 4G/LTE infrastructure developers and network operators to assist them in developing new network features and carry out interoperability analysis, quality of service analysis and network performance optimisation as well as a range of network and product tests.

We are looking for an Applications Engineer or experienced Support Engineer to support our client's mobile product line with leading vendors of cellular infrastructure in a global market place. As an Applications Engineer you will be responsible for customer interfacing and management, problem solving, and management of both software and hardware related enquiries. This is a technical and commercial opportunity in a fast moving professional organisation.

Key skills and experience :-
o Experience of working in a technical discipline, preferably within cellular wireless network side.
o An understanding of layer 1 and 2 of recent 3GPP standards.
o Have a systems level understanding of one or more recent 3GPP standards.
o Self motivated, self starter with a can do attitude.
o Able to work effectively alone, whilst being a key team player.
o Have a genuine interest in technology.
o Demonstrates solid aptitude for solution finding.
o Have previous experience of customer support at a technical level.
o Be willing to travel worldwide at short notice.
o Technically qualified to degree level.
