Sales Account Manager

Salary: to circa £60k OTE

Our client has built an impressive portfolio of instruments and flexible test and measurement solutions. They provide a wide range of test instrumentation with considerable expertise in RF and wireless equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to promote and sell our client's products and solutions to an allocated customer base. As an Account Manager you will work with existing contacts to develop interest in the product base and to achieve sales. You will also liaise with other company personnel (product specialists, sales management, etc.) to ensure specific business opportunities are converted into orders.

Key skills and experience:-
o Able to understand customer requirements and how to apply products and solutions to fulfil them.
o Previous experience with RF and wireless technology.
o Must have strong "closing" instincts and excellent sales skills.
o Good communication skills and a good level of IT literacy.
o 2+ years of field sales experience
o Experience in an electronic engineering environment would be advantageous.
o Familiarity with the test and measurement market would be advantageous.
o Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory within the UK.
o Educated to a minimum HND Electronic/Electrical Engineering or commensurate experience.
