Our client is an emerging technology company committed to developing, marketing and becoming a leading supplier of advanced technology to the mobile telecommunications industry. They are developing technology that will reduce network infrastructure costs significantly, securing big savings in network rollout and running costs for operators.

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with a good track record in the development of PCB level mixed analogue and digital circuits. As an Electronics Engineer you will be involved in the specification , design and implementation of advanced WCDMA and OFDM modulator and power amplifier systems.

Key skills and experience:-
· Experience of analogue design using ICs and discrete transistors.
· Understanding of switch-mode power supply designs, audio amplifiers, video amplifiers or other analogue circuits.
· Ability to test, diagnose and modify discrete designs to meet required performance
· Familiar with design proving and willing to undertake commissioning, diagnosis and test work in the lab.
· Some understanding and appreciation of stability analysis and compensation networks.
· Understanding of device speed limitations, failure modes and breakdown mechanisms.
· Experience of design for high reliability and design for manufacture.
· Good practical skills including hand-assembly of SMT components.
· Ability to work as part of a team to business-critical deadlines.
· Technically qualified to degree level.
