Technical Business Development Manager - OSS Support Systems

Our client is a proven leader in its field and develops truly market leading solutions supporting all the current major global standards for wireless communication, including HSPA, UMTS, GSM, E-GPRS, CDMA2000, 1X-EVDO and WIMAX.

We are looking for an experienced Pre-sales Engineer or Sales Engineer to position and support the sales of our client's real time Quality Monitoring solutions for mobile, fixed and converged telecom networks and services. As a Technical Business Development Manager you will also work with Account Managers to develop new and existing accounts with Major carriers/service providers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Key skills and experience :-
· Min 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales/solution architecture/system. engineering/sales support/professional services to service providers.
· Previous experience in service provider or Network equipment manufacturer or network monitoring vendor or system integrator organisations.
· Telecoms background is a must: 2G-3G/IMS/IP/core and radio networks.
· Experience in OSS/BSS solutions.
· Customer focussed and the ability to develop relationship in an international context.
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
· Self motivated, dynamic and able to work under own initiative with minimum supervision
· Cultural awareness/sensitivity to be able to relate to customers and do business successfully throughout the EMEA region.
· Fluent English + min 1 additional European language.
· Willing to travel extensively.
· University degree in Electronic, Electrical Engineering, Telecomms, Computer Science or similar.
