Our client works with 3G infrastructure developers and 3G network operators to assist them in developing new network features and carry out interoperability analysis, quality of service analysis and network performance optimisation as well as a range of network and product tests.

We are looking for experienced DSP Software Engineers to fill a number of client vacancies at all levels. As a DSP Engineer you will develop essential algorithms for the generation and analysis of digital wireless communication standards, e.g. GSM, EDGE, UMTS, WLAN, WiMAX. You will work from standard specifications and marketing requirements making a major contribution to new product development.

Key skills and experience:-
An excellent understanding of signal processing and wireless communication theory is more important than detailed knowledge of any particular software.
Experienced in developing signal processing algorithms within the wireless communication industry.
Good mathematical ability applied to the generation of algorithms for digital processing of analogue signals.
Digital signal processing experience applied to digital radio communications systems, such as WiMAX, LTE and UMTS is desirable.
Proficient in C/C++ programming and Matlab, self motivated and have experience of leading a team for the senior roles.
Educated to degree level in engineering or a related discipline.
