Our client is a proven leader in its field and develops truly market leading solutions supporting all the current major global standards for wireless communication, including LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, W-CDMA.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Author to work with our client's Engineering and Marketing teams to research product information for new 3G products and then develop the required content. As a Technical Author you will prepare product documentation in both paper and electronic formats.

Key skills and experience :-
· Excellent command of the English language and capable of writing high quality, consistent technical material.
· Working knowledge of Word, Framemaker (including Webworks), HTML, XML.
· Understanding of the 3G technology, particularly in relation to the air interface and signalling protocol.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels of the organisation.
· Ability to work as part of a team and to work to deadlines.
· Be prepared to travel to visit other divisions where necessary.
· Attention to detail, drive and accuracy.
· Capable of working under pressure and delivering to tight timescales.
· Technically qualified to HNC or above.
