Business Developer - Wireless technology

Our client is at the forefront of technology development in a variety of business sectors working to develop new products. They are renowned for their ability to solve technical problems and provide creative, practical solutions to business issues.

We are looking for an experienced Business Developer to develop and build long-term customer relationships helping to make a significant contribution to the future direction of their business. Ideally you will have worked in a consultancy role and have technology/R & D experience but also critically, commercial and NPD experience, perhaps from a marketing perspective.

· Key skills and experience:-
Substantial marketing or business experience and a track record in wireless design.
· Exposure to customers and projects with some P & L responsibility.
· Market knowledge of existing technology (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, UWB, DECT, Bluetooth, GSM/3G, as well as custom radio solutions).
· Experience of taking wireless products through the full development cycle is highly desirable.
· Analytical and strategic thinker with strong presentational communications skills.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are critical for this role.
· Good Science/technology degree.
· Postgraduate business qualification desirable.
