Consultant Ref: J000118 Location: Cambs Salary: to £70k + benefits Our client is at the leading edge of the communications revolution with the move to datacentric communications and the increasing focus on IP delivery. Their capability includes leading edge technology consultancy in all wireless areas including UMTS, GSM (PTT), wireless LANs and 3G handset development. We are looking for exceptional wireless people, designers, engineers and innovators who are specialists in their area with a real passion for wireless, a broad knowledge base and the commercial acumen to maintain our clients position at the forefront of the wireless industry. You will work with clients to analyse and understand their needs for technology solutions and work within assigned teams to implement solutions. In particular DSP or FPGA experience would be a useful asset. Key skills and experience:- · 5 years + in a leading edge development role within a wireless infrastructure or terminal manufacturer. · Familiarity with multiple current and future wireless technologies (e.g. 2G, 3G, WiFi, PMR, WiMax). · Excellent technical skills · A strong communicator and team player · Highly motivated with a can do approach. · A good first degree and preferably a higher degree in a relevant subject.
